I know it's knid of a lame idea, but I was wreaking the castle for parts and thought I might as well make a battle of it.

Great entries so far! It has been a lot of fun seeing what you have all come up with. There is only one week left and the contest will end. So get those last minute entries in here!

O.K., Here is what will probably be my last entry:

Since the folder is not yet public, here is a deeplink:

What is supposed to be happening is that the Samurai captured some forestmen and are bringing them back to their stronghold, but they are ambushed by some other forestmen.

Hey,

Okay, I finally put these on Brickshelf. Here are some key scenes from the Battle of the Pellanor fields, from the siege of Minas Tirith to the charge of the Rohirrim:

Just wanted to pass my kudos to all of you guys who submitted battle scenes although I didn't take part in this contest, watching submissions from all of you gave me a really good idea of what works in terms of taking the pics and also in terms of battlefield props/barracades/weapons/etc.

Great job CC!

Sorry for the short notice, but I will be entering. I should be done by Monday.
I have one question, however.
In the pictures I submit, would you have any problems if I included some official lego sets?
I have a medival city underway, and currently there are two visible official lego sets (Guarded inn and Knights Kingdom Castle. (Not the newest one)). I could have easily un-included them, and I would replace them with my own creations I am building at the moment, had I known about this contest earlier. I wouldn't have enough time to do it now, though. I can also take pictures without including them, but if you dont mind them, or wouldnt take any points off for them being in the picture, I wouldn't bother taking pictures around them.
The sooner you reply, the sooner I can start to get this started.

Here it is at last. Its my first attempt with a camera and the back ground was red so half the pics were too blurry to be seen.

The story is Sir Valric and a group of knights are holding off the dark lord's army while the peasants escape.

Here's the whole gallery when public.

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=123899

The Dark Lord. The flash covered up his eyes, but its a 1x1 the same colour as the one on his sword under the crown.

The best pic, Valric is the knight with the purple shield.(Pythos is the guy in the green helmet in the background)

Peasant rearguard.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/TheOr ... 003518.jpg

The funky overview. I bet none of you can spot the matrix pose.

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1168542

Royal reinforcements getting wasted by a ninja trio.

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/TheOr ... 003521.jpg

Three baddies getting butchered.

Valric and two other knights fighting the baddies.

Hi, I'm Jens and this is my first message on this board.

I'm going to build a battle-scene too, but I have to wait for some needed bricks. I hope they arrive on Monday, so I can send my pics to take part at this contest.

regards,
jens

I hope so too! Can't wait to see your pics. But if they do come late, and can't be in the contest, we would love to still see your creation. Welcome to Classic-Castle!
