Gah! What an INCREDIBLE moc!!

Could you please show me how you did that ceiling? Just incredible.

This moc has so much going for it I don't know where to begin.

1. The ceiling - unbelievable
2. The floor - beautiful
3. The furnature. Oh, the furnature. I will definately be building that bed and hutch.
4. The trees - perhaps the best I've seen.
5. The little details. Man, you are a master of detail. I love those candles and the bird sanctuary.
6. Th molting

I'm a little confused as to the interior layout. The medieval street pics aren't part of the hall, are they?
Perhaps you could take a more overview shot so we could see how the rooms connect.

Anyway, thanks for sharing this. I'll be adding this to my 'favorites'!

One of the best, most complete mocs I've yet seen! :D

Wow!

Another amazing MOC Jojo, the vaulted ceiling and the mosaik floor pattern really stand out as the high points of the construction. Your use of brick for mottling is one of the better we have seen, it is not to busy, and it avoids being all one color. The lndscaping and trees are also excellent. Very nice work!

Hello!

Thanks, guys!

Now the full story (which also explains the street scenes) is up on MOCpages. You may read it here:
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/8232

It's not exactly a masterpiece, as it was written for the ISCC4 (International System Creativity Contest 4 on www.1000steine.de ) where I am limited to 30 pics. However, you get the full load of pics in the MOCpages gallery. It's the Director's cut.

No, I did not use new grey in this MOC, and yes, everything you see in this gallery is pure LEGO. Except for the background, that's the wall in my kitchen.

Bye
Jojo

I am totally wowed by your building skills, Jojo. From the outside, your MOC looks like a rare ordinary MOC. Sure, it's skillfully done, and beyond what I could conceive of, but it appears to be on par with many other builders (excepting, of course, your stunning trees).

Then we get a look at the inside, and this previous misconception is blown away. You have skill at creating both detailed buildings and detailed furniture, as well as a good eye for the placement of accessories, creating a highly realistic picture.

There can be no doubt that you are one of the most experienced builders in the world.

Holy cow! Don't know what else to say that hasn't been said already...

Ok I really like this fountain thing:

There must be some crazy SNOT + half stud offsets + fibre optic cable work going on there...

Jojo,
This is a wonderful example of your outstanding skill. I was enthralled by some wonderful detail in each picture. I really like the flow of your story as well. I like the initial image - "booted out of the house". In the kitchen, the Garlic was a real hit for me - reminded me of my travels in Europe and my second love cooking ... :D
I now have a list of parts I need from your wonderful examples. Perhaps I could have some skilled wizard augment my Lego fund ...
I will be sharing this story with many of my friends.
The details and design elements are just amazing
I don't think enough can be said about this one. 8)

Cheers,

Hey Jojo,

This is outstanding! You know I've been waiting for this since we first saw glimpses a few months ago, and the detailed pics do not disappoint. While the building itself is great--the roof, the details along the eaves (Aha, now I see what's going on there--that's how you get the roof to sit still! Very clever), the arches, the ceiling, the floor, the mottling--the details inside are even better. My favorites are the canopy bed, the hutch, and the little kitchen details like the rolling pin. BTW, is that a trans orange fish the cats are eating? Where's that from? The pic where she's getting kicked out of her home is great, with her hanging mid-air like that and the foot of her parent sticking out of the door.

On a different note, could you give a link to the ISCC4 page? I don't see it linked on the 1000steine.de (.com?) front page.

Woah; wonderful!

You did a great job modeling the original building. I like the mottling, both on the outside and inside on the floor, and the ceiling inside is masterful.

This picture from the gallery is really funny: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Jojo/ ... ll/01a.jpg great job.

Oh, yes; the furniture. Awesome, as usual; I like the hutch best, I think.

A beautiful MOC (as always from your illustrious self). I loved the trees, always landscaping that catches my eye first... The interior was also great (was this project the source of your changing screen on Lugnet a while ago?). So many people commented on the ceiling... So I am going to side with the down trodden floor :)

Thanks, Great work, God Bless,

Awesome. The building is nice, but the street scenes and furniture are fantastic. I especially like the knife holder and cutting board, chest of drawers, hanging vegetables, and the woman tossing out the dishwasher. That style of tree is also very neat.

JoJo, the amazing MOC aside, you have a very subtle sense of humor. I don't claim to be fluent, but I can hobble my way through German and I have this sinking feeling those aren't complete translations...

Am I mistaken, or is that your sigfig laying on the couch? Is Albirona someone we should know about? :)
