Wizard Vignette 1

Post by Dragon Master »

Wizard Tending to his Dragons

I plan on making more similar creations, hopefully resluting in a moc like Sir Nelson's Chateau de Vignette. However it will be different as the castle will not be completely made of vignettes, but each Vignette included will detach from the landscape, well you'll see when it's done.

Well, I like the dragon pen – it's a new idea to be sure, and puts the baby dragons to good use. The shelf is a nice touch, as is the broom, but I would suggest either adding more dark bley (to balance it out) or removing the one brick in said color, as it stands out against the regular dark grey. I would also suggest another brick of sand red (balance purposes, again) and a more color-shematic cape for the wizard, as the red and yellow is rather clashing with the green.

I love the idea of a dragon pen. :D But I think I've said that already...

Its a wonderful idea. The sand red is an interesting addition, I kind of like it. I like the wizard's staff as well, very well done. And I really like how the shelf is off center from the bricks in the wall, it took me a bit of looking to figure out how you'd done it.

Keep up the vignettes!

Very well done. The wizards staff is really unique, havent seen that done yet. I look forward to seeing this vignette castle thingy you speak off. Sounds like a good idea.

Intresting project. No harm in bringing some new life to the DMs, and a very nice first step too, aspecially the wizards staff, very cool!

Very neat idea. I really like this. My only critique would be the wizard himself; or rather, the way he's placed. You can't tell what he's doing; he appears to just be stuck on there, standing there. Maybe if you had him actually doing something, like holding a bucket, or even just peering into the pen, it would be better. Still, a nice little vignette.

I think that's neat! If all the parts of the castle are as good as this one I think it will turn out well. Also I really like the wizard, very nice custom figure.
