I'm quite impressed with how good the red with blue highlights looks, and I like how you break up the wall with interesting shapes. I think the details could be more consistent from level to level, but the structure is a great inspiration for building in classic, bright colors.

It looks really good, besides being red.

Quite cool! The red and blue go well together, which surprised me. And you did a great job of avoiding the Big Red Wall Syndrome. The walls are broken up by the details very well. Overall, I like it a lot. Best use of red in a fortress I have seen. Just one question: what are they burning in that pot? Jewels? Jolly Rangers? What is it?

I obviously like this tower very much. Very nice to see nice castles in traditional lego colours. As shown here it really can look good .
Best regards, Infyrana

What piece(s) did you use for those three windows right next to each other?

Thanks for the feedback.
I was suprised by the red and blue as well - in person it almost is too much when the sun is shining on it - very vibrant.

Josh - They are brewing their own version of magic stew - warms the spirit. I have some parts that came with a huge lot of Lego that I thought were cannon balls, but they don't fit any of the cannons I have. On top of them I threw in a few flourescent 1 rounds - does look a lot like a bunch of candy doesn't it :(

Sir Dillon- the part is # 30077 (http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/30077?img=8740) it is labelled as a fence piece, but makes a nice set of windows.

The next task is to oncorparate this tower into the corner of the wall for my castle.
Pics when I sort it out.
Cheers,
SirBert

Magic Stew is good. I could use some now, actually. Will have to settle for some hot chocolate though. BTW, what piece are the "cannon balls"? Is it this: http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/203 ?

Take care,
Josh

Hi Josh,
Thanks for the idea but No it isn't the bionicle part - they are actually perfectly round and are grey, brown and tan - perhaps they are from something else. I will try and get some pics up.
Cheers,
SirBert.
