I finally finished my castle project tonight! I got kinda trigger happy with the camera & took a buncha pics...enjoy...

Whoa! I can see why you would get trigger happy. That is one impressive castle... and I've only looked at the first picture (blasted slow dial up). And it has an interior too? Someday, I'll do something awesome like that...

Thats very nice. The size of the castle is incredible, takes up alot of baseplates huh. All the details are also really awesome, trees, windows, gate, stone pavement. It's also great that you did interiors, you have a skill that I obviously don't do so well on. Keep up the good work.

The simplicity of this castle is where it gets its beauty! Your scale is small but your castle is big! You sparsly molted, but the walls look relistic. You stuck to a square, but the castle is nonsymetrical!

I think every builder strives to build like that.

Great work on the castle. Thanks for going trigger happy, more pictures is always better in my book. Plus you focused in on some nice details in some of the pictures, that I would have missed in a large overall shot.

With the interior pictures, I was having a little trouble matching them up to where they're located in the castle overall (since I kept having to switch between the two galleries). Maybe you could make a little map, or label one of the exterior shots?

Wow, this is one amazing castle I love all the detials you put into it, plus the design is simple, but still looks great.

I like this castle. Its footprint is large but it itself maintains a compact feel which is great.

Very good! This is impressive. One thing that really stands out to me is the mottling. Not many people get it right. You did. Just the right amount, not so much that it is distracting, but enough to break up the walls. And it looks pretty random also. Your interiors are well done. I especially like the blacksmith. I have a soft spot of blacksmiths (there is nothing quite like shaping hot metal) so I guess I am biased. Only one suggestion. I noticed that some of your walls are two studs thick. If you made walls only one stud in thickness you get more room inside.

But if he did that light would come in. I like it. It's bigger than my unfinished castle. I like how you did the portcullis, with the rope and all. Great job!

In the case of the Blacksmith's workshop (in the outer bailey), I had to use two stud pieces because I ran out of one stud pieces.

I thought that might be the case. You used a lot of bricks there. I only really noticed it because I was examining the blacksmith shop rather closely. Excellent job on this. I will be saving the link to show my non lego friends. MOCs on this scale blow them away.

Simple but not dull design, looks very functional and defendable. I like how you got the thickness of the walls 4 thick and inserted arrow slits. Some nice interior detail as well.
