I saw this and was going to post it but did already :)

This is a cool town and has some awsome detail. I just wish he/she had some pics of the whole thing.

This is brilliant! I love the complexity of this, he really must have taken a long time to plan this. I really wish there were some pics without that word bubble and some shots of the whole town.

marakoeschtra has done it again. I really appreciate his building style - it is so very clearcut and detailed. The raised city and the diagonal street was a nice touch along with the garden and fountain. Simply superb.

However, some overview shots, as mentioned by others would make this awesome MOC into an even better one.

I must say that I love teh complexity of this. Everything is detailed to the last, from pastries piled in the bakery to the different colors of pumpkins in the garden to the little mushrooms by the tree. I had never thought of using those tan plus-pins as wheat; I may have to borrow the idea. The layout is quite inventive and I am rather fond of the diamond shape and various minifigs he included. Using the circular plates as cobblestones is excellent. I also love the springs and the staircases and how the city is built on two levels.

A wonderful MOC! My compliments to the builder! :D

Ana amazing MOC all around. Personally, I didn't find the lack of bubble-less pics to be annoying, although the lack of a wideshot showing the whole thing from numerous angles was annoying.

I detected Jojo's water-flowing-from-tap thing on pics 39 and 41.

I was also surprised to see what I am sure was a custom shirt on the guide. Somehow, it seems out of character for my mental image of Marakoestra.

I was duly impressed with all of it, but for some reason I think I liked the grapevines the best. Simple and effective. The builder makes such great use of so many parts. Astounding!

Absolutely incredible.

I was throughly impressed before I knew it had an interior! Wow!

So many awesome details. I love the fountain and the vines. i love the way he did the streets. The pumpkin patch is awesome. I like the spider web.

My favorite detail though, has to be the...er...mess in the stable. Just too funny!

Brilliant, brilliant builder.

Hey,

I get out of the loop for a day and look what I miss! This is a great MOC, and I'll have to spend time looking at it in detail before commenting. I had actually started an article on him for the front page, which I had to retool to reflect this new creation. I had put together this collage to use with the article:

Anyway, I'll scoop myself and post the breaking news here:

The mysterious marakoeschtra is a Dutch AFOL named Martin Jaspers. He's built with LEGO since he was a kid, but only recently got into castle. All of these creations were created over the last several months. He has no website other than the Brickshelf gallery and he has relatively recently joined the Lowlug forum, but is not a member of any other LUG or on-line LEGO group.

This is really impressive work! And you know that when I make comments like this, it means that I *really* am impressed.

I like this part the best:

How he uses elevation in his city as part of the wall.
