I would like to see a keep or castle built out of bley & mottled with light gray pieces.

Well I really like the new gray, unlike other people.

I like it better, too. And it's actually slightly closer to a neutral grey, suprisingly enough:
New: R 163 G 162 B 164
Old: R 161 G 165 B 162

But I still wish it had never changed. Kinda like that new blue in the KK2 sets. I love the color, but I wish they had never invented it. Shoulda just gone with regular blue, or maybe that faded purple color you see here and there, which is also pretty close.

Actually, regular blue is suprisingly similar:
New: R 70 G 103 B 164
Blue: R 13 G 105 B 171

Think of it this way, new grey is an unlimited source. Light grey is not as available, getting more limited and more expensive as it starts to fade and yellow. As for myself, I have very very very few light grey. But then I happen to like to build castles in tan.

Enjoy your new grey bricks, I'm looking forward to seeing what you create out of them.

Any building, is good building. Build for the fun of it!

I too like the new light gray, not more then the old light gray, but I don't have tons of old gray so the change didn't bother me that much.
Now the dark bley on the other hand, I don't like. I don't have much old dark gray, but I think the new DB is too blueish.

I look forwards to seeing your MOCs.

How about a tower?

It would be the perfect colour after they are burnt.

The Violet-Blue you see King Mathias and anything that belongs to him has, is not meant to replace the regular Blue. Look at his torso, there's regular Blue printed on it.

I think you should build a large wall for a city or a castle.

Personally, I'd go for a walled city.
