What are you going to do with all those printed tiles?
Brasso, my friend, brasso.

To answer an earlier question- Brasso is a metal and furniture polish that has the interesting and unique ability of eating away at official LEGO decals without harming the brick itself (except for baseplates, it seems). It leaves behind a perfectly normal looking blank brick/plate/tile with no scratches or discoloration.

It took me several hours of work (with breaks because of the fumes), but I was able to remove all of the decals off the 400+ tiles on that baseplate.

The easiest way of going about it is to take the fig, brick or plate, wet a paper towel with brasso, and put some serious elbow grease into it. In the case of large numbers of tiles, use a large plate (don't use a baseplate), and load it up with the tiles. Then just rinse and rub under water (be safe if your water drains into your drinking water supply).

It really works well.

And to answer the question as to what I will be using so many tiles for? Many many things, my friends. Many many things. :)

Ha ha ha... this is too true. The AHL sure isn't doing anything for me.

I don't post here a lot so all I have to say is...

Tsk, tsk for ruining that hockey armor. You did such a nice job with them, that somebody like me who fears altering bricks more than death itself is almost tempted to make a few modifications to some rather unused pieces in his/her collection. ;)

I know how you feel - I've decided to do it, and even gotten all the materials together... but just haven't been able to take that "step" yet. LOL...
