Kyburg by Christoph Eisenring

Post by Bruce N H »

Hi all,

Christoph Eisenring has been posting pieces of this castle, but I wanted to hold off on commenting until it was all up. Check out Kyburg.

Beautiful overall look and I like the interiors, plus I think the landscaping is very well done.

Wow. It's come together quite nicely. It has a great look to it. Very realistic looking with a ton of detail in a compact creation. The flag pole is very clever. Love the two making out in the hay loft.

Any idea how he pulled off the roof transition with be tower in this pic? Specifically, the corner roof piece second from the bottom, next to the tower. What piece is that? Or is it a technique of some sort?

That's amazing  There are so many little details. I have seen most of the differant sections before. But I didn't know they were to the same castle.
Very good piece of work.

I like the ammount of detail that was put into this. I had seen the sections, but like Sir Dillon, hadn't realized they were the same castle. The whole thing looks excellently realistic, and I like the touch with the fisherman in the back, as well as the general not-crowded look of the whole thing. It makes it seem very quaint.

This Moc is truly awesome!
It's small but makes a big impact.
The details are very good & the over-all design looks great.
The two minifigs "getting it on" in the hay was a nice touch. I also like the fisherman on the little dock too.
Interesting way he made the windows on the gatehouse tower.

Yep, this is really cool - I like how no character is just "filler" or "common" - each one seems to have some unique twist goin on ~

This is quite a little find Bruce. I appreciate his (her?) attention to detail. Especially the way the walls taper in at the door at the water entrance. I can remember when this would have been a "big" creation until certain other more massive ones came along. The Itou-esque environs are a great accent. Learning a bit of German reading these. "Runderturm" would seem to be "round tower" while "gosserturm" would be "square or entrance tower" and so on. I'm quite fond of this MOC. Must be nice to be able to wander a couple of hours away from home and have scores of buildings to offer up inspiration!

Looks good,

I particularly like the angle at which those ninja wall pieces are mounted...

Thanks for posting this up and God Bless,
