Calling all builders !!

Post by Legolas »

Hey all,

I know this sort of belongs in Publishing, but seeing as it consist of building stuff, it shouldn't do any harm by being here.

Anyways on with my request...

I am currently in the works of making a LEGO video game similar to http://www.bricklords.net (May its memory live forever :( ). The game will have the same basics as bricklords, going through a dungeon to find treasure and unfolding the plot that will be based on my story "Tales of Galere", but my problem is, I've run into a snag and I need a little help with construction of the dungeon. So basically would anyone be interested in helping me by building a dungeon, taking pictures and then sending them to me so I can edit them as needed, I would be more then happy to add those who help to the credits, but other than that I can't offer any payment.

I have taken a picture of what the inside of the dungeon would need to look like, keep in mind the black wall at the end is just an example, the deeper then dungeon can be, the better the effect I can add to make it look endless. Also the design is in the works, if you don't like it, we can decide on a design that we all like :)

If anyone is interested please send me a PM and we can work out the details.

Hello,

Just a few explanation for the interruption of BrickLords.

The v2 of the game is mainly coded. But the BrickLords project was huge and took me a lot of time and my wife was worry about it.
So, I polled everybody (here, lugnet, friends, etc.) about the interest of a BrickLords v2 and a little few people was expecting it.
Sorry and disappointed, I decided to stop the project.

For those who doesn't know bricklords, some screenshots are here : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=120734

To answer your question, I have no time to help you for now.
Sorry :-(

I hope your project will work !
