My first MOC!!!

Post by eNiGMa »

I did this for the seed part challenge last night. Even though it's from a video game, I'd like to consider this "castle." And now I give you a scene from Bowser's Castle:

In case some of you can't tell, the seed part is the classic "jumping platforms"

Looks like a promising idea, but is that the part that Nathan (Lord_Of_The_LEGO) put up? I know that sounds like a really dumb question, but those are pretty dark pics, and the screen darkness/lightness on this monitor are screwy...

Anyways, since I'm assuming it's NOT, then allow me to say that this is a great-looking idea, but you seem to have missed the idea of the Seed-Part Challenge.

The idea of the challenge is to make a Castle creation incorporating the Seed Part posted for that month by Nathan. The goal is to create the best Castle MOC using that piece.

After all, if people could use ANY piece they considered useless, then we'd have people like Bruce using wall segments. :P

Yeah, I used the part that Nathan posted. It's used as the platforms on the lava. The pictures are a bit dark; I'm still getting used to photoshop. I've started work on another project, though, that I hope to post in a week or two. Hopefully the pictures should come out better

Awesome lava. I didnt see it was Mario and Luigi until my slow mind put together "fallen green clothed mustacho man" and "blue platforms".

The lava is really an inspirational source, If I only find all those orange transparent parts Im one happy camper! Great work!

Ps, Luigi would fit better with the new chef/cook face

Hey I really like the creative use of "Castle" because its not used in the typical medieval sense.

It's a nice vig too, you've captured the game nicely in my opinion.
It's a Christmas Miracle!

Okay, now that I'm looking at it on a half-decent monitor I can see what it is. On the other monitor, everything drak kinda melds together, totally hiding which pieces were used. And my attempt to decipher it didn't reveal the pieces.

However, I can see it now. My apologies.
