Medieval Factory / Sawmill

Post by marakoeschtra »

Hi all !

I've just signed up with the Classic-Castle forum, and I'd
like to start off with announcing my latest MOC; a
medieval factory / sawmill that I've been working on for
some time.

It features four machinery halls with moving machines, that
are 'powered' by four horses walking around a central shaft.
( of course LEGO horses don't really wallk, so I put in two
motors to make it work properly  )

Here are some images of the exterior:

And also some interior shots:

Here's the link to the Brickshelf folder (when public):

Movies of the whole thing moving are coming soon,
(they're currently not supported on BS ).

Hallo Martin!

Finally! Your BrickShelf folder has been in my favourites for some time now...

This current MOC is as great as all of your creations. Very nice and clean, well constructed with nive details.

Welcome to the forums! That's gotta be one of the best MOCs that I've seen recently. What lures me to it isn't the features it packs, but the design. It's not built like the "traditional" MOC; people do diagonals, but yours looks amazingly natural. The buildings look sleek, and you pulled off the landscaping just right. This is in my favorites!

AMAZING work! Really well done... wow, what a way to join the community! I've yet to see your bricklink folder, but I'll happily be perusing it now. Nice to see some cool town-like stuff too, especially on such a large scale.

Absolutely incredible!! Your work is truly inspirational. If only there were more people out there with your talent!

A quick question! How do you find the time for so many wonderful MOCs?

The Saw Mill is excellent!
I love the working components & the over all look of it is great.
You obviously have a deep understanding of what parts to incorporate into your Mocs & the right place to put them.

I hope you stick around & post regularly.

Amazing! It's quite rare you see a peaceful civilian Castle MOC this big or impressive. The only other ones that come to mind right now are a few big inns and aI thinka big stable complex. This may just be the best though, incorporating a motor into this makes it all the sweeter, and your level of small detail is truly impressive.

WOW!

Welcome aboard!!! :D It's about time you joined!

Very good-looking and finished, like everything we've seen of yours. The colour schemes are attractive and the architure is both sound and interested.

A very good use of non-square orientation in the construction of the main building.

What's more, the first foray into castle-era factory building that I am aware of.

Dang. Yea, I'm going to admit I'm a fan.

The motor and all the mechanics of this MOC are amazing. How do you do it?!?

Oh yea, welcome!
