Ruined Tower

Post by Sir Dillon »

Hello,

Here is the latest MOC that I've been working on.

There's not much of a back story to it, except that it was once wizards tower, and after it ruined, it became the home of my avatar, who lives in its cellar.

Unfortunately, it's hard to see the details on the tower because it's black, Oh well...

Comments? Criticism?

We've just been belting out the MOCs lately, haven't we? :D

Your ruins look great. I would have liked to see your avatar in there, though. What does an avatar do in its natural habitat?

Nice. Especially the use of a lot of actual Lego trees without destroying the MOC's scale...

God Bless,

Thanks.
I never thought of that, maybe I should take another pic with him in it?

I love the cellar. Its very well done! It looks realistic with all those trees and all, like a forest.

My only critisism is that the BURP that is connected to the ruin itself has its hollow side visible, this is not usually a problem but the rest of the ruins looks very thick-walled and the rock looks very thick too, perhpaps something on the inside of the BURP?

I like your MOC overall. I assumed that your choice of black for the tower, and the story that it was once a wizards tower implies some sort of fire or magical destruction. A good use of black bricks. I agree that the inside of the grey burp throws things off.

Great MOC!
