Stormtroopers as knights

Post by GrayKnight »

I'm not sure where this goes so I'm putting it here. I was just wondering if anyone else used storm troopers as knights I think they look kind of cool and make good supporting units. I only have about 10 and I like to use them as allies for my Black Falcons because I don't have very many of them either.

Do you mean with the helms or without? The armors are pretty good (I used one on my character Erhamíl before I thought I should use a sticker instead) but the helms are not really castly at all, I mean, they have breathing apparatus and visors for the eyes... And theyre entirely white.

I dont know, but with a nice paint job the helms could be used...

I agree, the torsos are ok, but I don't think the helms look very castleish at all.
And theyre entirely white.
I think that would be better then entirely baby blue

I'm using them with the helmets right now because I dont have any spare heads with faces to give them regular open faced helms. What i would rally like to do though is get ahold of some of those clone trooper figs I really like the crest on their helmets and would like to paint some of them in black for my main badguys bodyguards.

I have used them in the past, and have been happy with how they look. Try this. A regular smiley face, yellow hands, and either a black pirate tri-corner hat or a helm with the grill on the front, and a black cape. Arm them with chrome weapons and you've got nice looking Paladins.

I also use Boba Fett torsos for my wood elves, and that's worked out well.

Just use the "edit" feature rather than making a new post - if you do it fast enough, people won't be able to use the "quote" feature and immortalize your mistakes (psssst, I corrected at least five things in the quote above, so if you go back and edit the original, no one will ever, ever know!). 8)

Here's a related thread you might want to check out:

For myself: Short answer= yes.

Long answer= stickered and sorted out, and sans the helmet. So not really.
