Impressive! Red roof isnt common on these asian lego castles, but it looks nice.

Indeed. Black is the most common, but there are a few Japanese castles with green copper roofs as well. I'd love to see this with black roof pieces instead, but it's still really great. The Hordesman wrote:Impressive! Red roof isnt common on these asian lego castles, but it looks nice.
Brickshelf user kk's Himeji Castle is also very good (but unfortunately also uses red roof pieces):

I lived in Himeji for about three years when I was a kid.

Great looking Castle! BTW... there are reddish-orange roofs you'd see on Chinese buildings like the Forbidden City Palace complex.

That's Kung-Khoon Quah. In addition to his Brickshelf gallery he also has a website. He's a member of GFLUG along with another Floridian you might recognize, and they've put up a joint display of their castle creations.Dunechaser wrote: Brickshelf user kk's Himeji Castle ...
Cool. I'd love to see you try your hand at some Asian-themed castle creations.Dunechaser wrote: I lived in Himeji for about three years when I was a kid.
