Thanks Queen!

Indeed, I get all of my storage trays at WallMart -- those and lots and lots of nitfy plastic drawers! I've reached a density of so many parts, I have entire drawers full of the same thing. Ah well. And to believe I have a delay in building due to a lack of black brick! *chuckle*

Anyway, thanks for the comments! The next section will be a center section and will have a key stairway as well as the treasure room. The interesting bit will be creating a hinged wall so once the rest of the castle is built on top of it -- you can still get into the inner room. Should be quite interesting!

I'm stuck in Equador for a week -- but I hope to have some new sections done this weekend (before the trip) and I'll let ya know when the pictures are up!

New Room

Post by DaveOhare01 »

heya! I've finally started work on one of the two central rooms in the castle. This room is a main lower hallway, a treasure room and the main stair from the 1st floor the castle to the lower levels.

As you can see, it's not done -- but I'm off to South America in the morning to fight those dang rebels ;)

Anyway, if I don't die a horrible (but cinematic) death, I will finish this next week!

Well, it's getting better every time.
I want to see that castle.

First time I seen the new monster you are creating. Is it going to be mostly black like your last Behemoth.

The reason I ask is because you said you have a large order of black coming, but I noticed a grey structure starting.

Look'n forward to the out come.

Ah! This castle will NOT be all black like the last one. Although the first tower (the black one) was Right Evil, you really could not see a whole lot of the detail.

This one will be classic gray and dark gray -- with a few black highlights.

The problem I have right now is the floorspace this is taking up and the thousands of 2x4 bricks it's taking to do the lower levels. I just went though 1800 2x4 on the newest section alone - and it's far from done. I've another 4000 on order -- but when will be madness end? :)

Update

Post by DaveOhare01 »

The central room, hallway, main stair & treasure room is pretty much done. Those rebels in Ecquador couldn't catch me! ;) I was only worried when we had to stop in Columbia for more fuel. Ah well.

Anyway, here is a new pic. Folder is the same as always!

Cheers!

Catacombs

Post by DaveOhare01 »

The next section of the Black Falcon's Citidel is built! This section are the first block of the catacombs and an additional run of the basement hallway.

the next section (section 8) will hold the Kings Crypt and beginning of the dugeon area.

Ah! Almost completed with the below-ground levels! Pics of the King's Barrow and Dungeon are up on on Brickshelf. Should be public shortly!

Ahhhhhh, the dreaded quintuplet post  I see I'm not the only one using black to finish my castle. It's just so cheap! Great job Dave, this looks like it's going to be a huge castle.

Ah yes... Alas, I can't get the tags to work today! LOL. Ah well.

This time, the castle will be gray -- only the underbelly of this beast will be black! I figured I should change up colors a bit!! :)
