Now you can make your own

Post by Robin Hood »

I've had the idea to build a small dragon, comparable in size to the real TLC dragon, for awhile. When a certain brother left for awhile, I got bored enough to build one. So here it is.

Image

The whole idea behind this was to make a dragon, similar to the real one, but out of pieces, much more movable and easy to build (not too sure about the last part).

So please, let me know what you think of this.

I like that! While the LEGO [Lego?] Dragon is certainly more detailed, this is an excellent rendering, and fully moveable too! I like the way the ears and the eyes are built.

I think you did what you were out to do. You could still make your own arms that could move at the elbow.

I do like the over all design, but I don't agree with the color scheme. Its more of a personal opinion though.

Good work!

Hey, that looks great! I think it looks fine in gray, because it contrasts well with the black knight. Good job!

I really like that dragon - looks very posable, and more realistic... of course, it's brick-built, so that is always a cool thing.

The only thing, I would suggest making some bigger wings if possible - seems like a beastie of that size would only be able to flap and run. :-)

I like it. Good designing; I think I might have to build a copy, or one of my own. Nice job.

This is a good design!

The colors look fine to me, and I'm glad you didn't pile it with speacial and bionicole pieces.

Oooooooooo, I love dragons, especialy when the're Lego. I like that it is larger than the Lego dragon, as I always felt that that was too small. The head is well designed too.

Well its only a prototype. If I had a choise of any colour, it would be green, just like the real one.

Well, if I really tried I probably could make bigger wings, but I wanted the dragon to able to use the offical ones.

Oh? You don't like that colour.

Thanks for all your guys' compliments. And please, if anybody else has something to say, please say it.

I was thinking this was probally the reason that you used the wings - anyway, some dragons have small wings that they don't use to fly. ;-)

It's a cool design.
