Crystal Cavern

Post by CAI »

Hey guys.

Just settled away after a few months of moving. Decided to bust the blocks out last night and have a bit o fun, nothing fancy.

Just some scenery and a fight scene. Good to be back at it. :D

Cheers.

That's a cool little MOC. Was the guy with the packhorse on the bandits team or what(before they killed him, that is):??

He was passing through, they stole a map from him. The soldiers helped him. He didn't die(my sigfig). It's a picture storey that goes along with my other MOCS, I never wrote anything yet. :D

Cheers.

Very nice!

I like the look of the trans-clear pieces as crystals.

Another Great MOC!

Nice work. I don't know why, but somehow it reminds me of the mythril mines in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. :?

I also like the look of the clear bricks as crystals--normally I see them as ice, so this is a nice change of pace!

I am always a fan of a good landscape MOC... This one has a nice scale of inclusion to it. Gives the idea without too much surrounding detail...

God Bless,

if thats your idea of a quick build then i'm very much at awe :D

I was going to say the same thing, actually... this is a really nice example of how landscaping can be as an effective as a castle or keep in setting up a good old fashioned battle scene.

Well done - I like the crystal idea... nice use of those translucent pics. :)

I agree, this is very much fancy. The rocks are incredibly well made, and the whole MOC is highly realistic. It associate with some fantasy book I read, I can't remember which one.
Wonderful MOC, very beautiful and inspiring.

Seriously, though, a terrifically unusual MOC. And I mean that in a good way.

Thanks guys, glad you like it.

It was a rush job though, probably the best way to create a mountain and path...slapping brick together with out much thought in a random sequence as fast as you can. :)
