Hey James,

Looking good. I really like the head on Smaug, but the legs need knees. Looking forward to the final product.

Ouch, blasted chains! My hand, my hand!

Err...sorry, I just had to :)

Anyway, these are pretty cool but I don´t really like Smaug. It´s hard to point out why but I think it is his head. He looks a bit goofy in some way I think...

I'm just glad to see The Silmarillion remembered. It's one of my all time fav books.

God Bless,

Shouldn't Maedhros have one hand?
Good Smaug, but I think his neck is slightly too long. Or not long, but just not curved maybe.
Anyway, good stuff, all minifigs are well suited. Good work!

Cool stuff. I think Smaug looks like a crocodile though, I would buy two viking catapult vs nidhogg sets to build a large Smaug out of that, or take some inspiration from Sava. Its not bad though, the head is neat and could be good for six/eight-legged lizard versions of the Basilisk.

Nope... Fingon hasn´t cut it off yet... He cuts it off to save him from that chain.

Oh, ok, I didn't read the book itself, but I remeber you discussing Maedhros on some other thread... I think it might have been my 'avatrs' thread.
