Skull Throne

Post by Stone Goblin »

My first furniture moc post.

This is a throne I built for one of my necromancer characters. The idea came when I was connecting skeleton arms together. The name could be skeleton throne but I think skull throne sounds better. The skeleton sitting on the seat is actually part of the seat.

This is the only photo I have.

Edit: Some new photos with the necromancer:

This shot is with the sitting necromancer. Notice I updated the throne with two skeleton heads on the sides and two more stacked 1x2 flats for the front part of the seat, so the figure can sit on a flat surface now.

Here's the updated throne without the figure.

Closeup shot of the necromancer.

Any comments welcomed. :)

Nice MOC, may i suggest some fire burning at the sides for added intimadation value? However, i wont prefer bone as cushion though; so any chance of showing us ur necromancer?

I would have to go look for the moc and put the necromancer together again.

Necro Mage doesn't like fire, because he is also undead and he doesn't want to get burned and turn into ashes, he prefers the darkness. Also I think the he doesn't mind the skeleton for a seat.

Nifty throne. I like the design, but I am wondering if the wings detract from the effect. How does it look without the wings? It seems like the bones would stand out more if the wings weren't there. Just a thought...

I'm not real fond of the skeletons on the sides. It looks too much like acrobats or some such thing.
