custom minifig scale monster...stone golem...

Post by boses »

Here is my newest monster moc...the stone golem...

This monster is essentially a large pile of granite boulders, animated and

driven by the will of an arcane power...

here is a picture of the stone golem...

Image

I had to make something with all of those 4x4 circle bricks...

Here are some larger pictures...

The head was inspired by the easter island statues...

Whoa boses!

That's an awsome stone golem! It's bulky, but that's what makes it look good! That's very impressive.

Keep up the good work!

Great looking golem! :D
Looking at the head reminds me of those guards from the Wizard of Oz movie(old version).
Good use of those bulky wheels.

I would have never thought to use the wheels like that. This is probably my favorite thing you've made so far. You realy captured the bulkiness and weight of someone made of stone.

Great work :!:

duude. totally reminds me of the old NES game Dragon Warrior. I'd say build it in yellow and you'd have a Goldgolem :D

come to think of it any color in that design would be neat.

great job!

Wow...now that is cool. I never would have thought of using the wheels like that.

Just paint it a sand color and you'll have the rock monster from 'Galaxy Quest' :D Looks good so far.

I think it looks great! Great use of those parts. Reminds me a lot of the Heavy War Golems in Searing Gorge from World of Warcraft. Great work!

Ahhh... thanks for the size comparison. Sqeamish minifigs should steer clear of that monster!

Awesome!

I've been wondering how to go about making a Frost Giant, as they seem to be in abundance in Norse mythology. This gives me some clues.

I can't believe you actually took a bunch of wheels and slopes and made them look that good. What's more, it is posable and even can hold up a minifig without the aid of... well, you. :-)

This really looks like an entity made of big, rough boulders - very solid work!
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.
