Looks awesome, thanks for the pics!

I've made a few catapults, but never perfected a trebuchet.

jb,

That's awesome. The original trebuchet was one of my favorite C-C entries, and my American heart tells me bigger is better.

Keep up the great work, dude.

Awesome trebuchet, I tried to build it before but I have no idea how you connected the arm to the frame. Any plans for instructions?

Thanks for the kind comments. I do have some instructions in the works and plan to write a how-to article in the near future.

Trebuchet Instructions

Postby jb » Mon Feb 02, 2004 11:59 pm

Hi everyone,

For those of you asking for instructions for the Crusader Trebuchet v2 they can be found here (when moderated): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=645607

If you can't wait the deep links are:
http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jbrin ... r/ct00.jpg thru ct17.jpg Just change the numbers to view.

WARNING! If you try to make it into a working model you need to be careful when launching. The trebuchet whips bricks around pretty quickly and could probably hurt your eyes. So be careful!!!

Enjoy!
