It ain'y easy being green. I love this guy, especially the pith helmet eyeballs.

WOW!! Thank you so much for your comments and feedback! I thought this Ogre MOC was pretty cool, but I didn't realize how well received it would be!! Getting comments, including the rare "Awesome" from Jojo 8) , really inspires me to continue to build, especially in this scale! Here are some answers to the questions posed...
The Blue Knight wrote:Wow. Where did all the green slopes come from?
Most of them came from set 1354 (an old Studios set).
Norro wrote:My only suggestion would be an improvement to the hands.
I agree... but I was rushing to get it done. My original plan was to allow the arms, legs, and hands to be posable, but when you work with this scale, it's quite hard to do. When it comes to articulated joints, gravity is not your friend! (A lesson learned from Ham, the Space Monkey!) :)
JoshWedin wrote:One question, are the black tails horns or really long ear hair?
It's his horns. Ear hair?!?
Recluce wrote:1. Is it articulate? 2. I like the expression on his face, but I think it could improved my making it non-symetrical. Know what I mean?
1. Only the mouth opens, and the tongue is removable. 2. I know exactly what you mean, but it was difficult enough to make something in this scale, that I really wanted symmetry. At least the arms are different! :D

I think ear hair is a much better description! It just solidifies and we mistake it for horns... ; )

What can I say? Its sweet, its awesome, its a great job. Seriously, I can't figure out how you build so well.

This is a masterpiece. The body is good, but not too above average. The head though, thats where it lies. It has such a cool, orgerish expression. And the eyes, they give him such a character that I could almost love him. :) Great job!

Dan

Oh, come on, now. You have to admit that the horns look like they are growing out of his ears...

Seriously, though, I knew they were horns. And your ogre is quite awesome! :)

A.W.E.S.O.M.E that is SWEET!!! I can just imagine a little viking come home with it "Can I keep him" I do like the pith helmet eyes. I made a dragon the had plian black helmets for eyes with black visors with a backwards skull inside (I get it on brickshelf soon) but it isn't nearly as cool as this.

That is an awesome creation, but I have got to say that my favorite part is the belly-button. Very simple but it gives it just the right touch. Good job!

Its truly rare to see a MOC as fine as this. Normally I don't like brick-built-monsters. But on a rare occasion, something truly wonderful pops up. This is such an occasion.

Bloody Brilliant!!
