May I remove the offending pieces, re-take the pictures and upload them with the same filenames as the already submitted pictures, or do I have to re-enter the whole thing and have you delete the previous entry?
Here's what Architect said on the subject three pages ago:
architect wrote:You can use stickers for shields, torsos, and flags in the contest (except the Classic-Castle category where stickers can only be used in themes that originally had stickers). Other modified/custom pieces can only be used in the custom figure and miscellaneous categories.
Although this does not extend to weapons, I believe that it shows your stickers to be in the clear.

Personally, I would say that a few minifig weapons is in keeping with the stickers, but that's a decision for Architect or one of the Admins, (in the contest, I'm merely a humble contestant like yourself) so you'd best wait on an answer from him.

Yes, remove the non-LEGO pieces and take new photos. You can just upload them onto brickshelf with the same names.

Hi
Is it possible for someone to edit the text on my submarine entry? It should be called the Drebbel (not Drebble) and it's based on the ship built by Cornelis (not Cornelius) Drebbel - that'll teach me to submit entries when I'm half asleep!!
Thanks!

Done!

I always enjoy your MOCs as they are an education as well as good builds.

Well, looks like no CC3 entries from the BM this year, you can all breathe a sigh of relief :) Never had a chance to sit down and finish anything, small or large, the last couple months, and now I'm sitting a few hundred miles from my collection so there's not much I can do about it now. Cheers all, enjoying seeing all the entries and looking forward to the results!

No, the CCC3 is for brick built mocs. Perhaps we could have a LEGO castle drawing contest or category in the future.

Sounds good, I'll be there.

Just a quick question: I submited an entry in the castle categorey several hours ago but it hasn't appeared anywhere yet.

Just wondering how long on average it takes for an entry to appear. Because I would like to know if maybe I did something wrong.

Thanks.

I don't think about drawing comis, but brick built. Something like this or this.

btw. Drawing Contest is great idea.

The admins are not miracle workers and we have normal jobs just like everyone else. You did not do anything wrong. We just have not approved all entries yet. That usually takes a day or two if you submitted your entry correctly.

I would hold off from submitting entries like that. Wait for a more appropriate contest focusing on drawings/comics.

When is the exact deadline for entries?
Is it 12:00 midnight Pacific time?

If I submit an entry before the deadline, then it ends and the moc wasn't posted yet. Does it still count?
And what if it hasn't been moderated(brickshelf) before the deadline but you submitted it before the deadline, does it count?

Just wondering.
I have one moc to post and another two mocs to still photograph/post.
Back to work I must go.

It is 11:59 PM Eastern US time on Saturday December 31, 2005. At this time you will no longer be able to submit entries.

If the brickshelf files are pending that is ok, as long as there are only 3 images that arent larger than 800x600 pixels

(Note to all people entering: No 700x700 images! The smallest dimension can not be larger than 600 pixels. It would be better to submit early as many people entering did not read the directions.)

If my entries are listed among the other entries, that means they meet all the requirements right? Just making sure.
