Wow, this year's(ok, last year's now) entries look really great! Looking through the entries is almost like looking through a gallery of some of the best Castle MOCs around! I was particularly impressed with the number of really well-made ships in the Vehicles category. And the Siege Scene category(the only one that I entered) looks like it'll have some stiff competition too. Amazing job, everyone! May the best MOCs win!

And a big shout out to all the admins/mods who helped organize and provide for this contest. Great work, guys! You all rock. :D

Is there any way that the Administraters could delete an entry?? because I entered two mocs that have appeared twice, the reason for this is I am not thirteen years old so I tried entering without a classic castle account, when the entries did not appear for several days I had my older brother, ( who doesn't play legos anymore,) create an account for me to use, and then later I found out that it did work to enter without an account his name is Luke, and my name is Peter the double entries are called Good King Wenceslas, and The Black Knight. :?:

I wouldn't say that. The age limit for any CC members is 13 and up. I don't believe membership would effect an entry... Its for any FOL who wishes to enter.

The duplicate entries have been deleted. Thanks for letting us know.

Unfortunately, since you are not yet 13, I'm going to have to delete the account. To anyone who questions the age policy - This is not because we for some reason dislike younger members, this is completely dictated by law. The US law states that if a forum allows members under 13 to join, all sorts of other restrictions come in that are designed to protect children on-line. We hope that underage builders appreciate that it is better for them to wait a couple of years to join this forum than the alternative, which would fundamentally change the nature of this forum for everyone (think of the LEGO.com forums and you'll know what I mean).

Sorry. We do hope you keep building and join us when the law allows.

If there are, there shouldn't be.

To join the site, you have to submit your age, and that age has to be 13 or over. If you lie about your age and join, we have no way of knowing and no way of checking, so we assume that you are old enough.

If, however, you are NOT 13 years of age or older, and you let this fact slip, the Admins should, and will, remove you from the Memberlist.

It's about regulations. Classic-Castle exists and wants to continue to exist as a legally correct- and safe- environment. Since we do not have the safeguards necessary or the paperwork necessary to permit users under 13 to join us, we have simply got a policy permitting no under-age users.

Kids under 13 are forbidden from joining CC forums as a member. We regulate it by asking them if they are under 13 before they can register. If they lie and then later admit that they are 13, we ban them.

The reason why CC can't allow people under 13 is due to Federal COPPA Laws which regulate website intended for children. CC is unable to follow COPPA Laws as they relate to people under 13, so we have to forbid them and then ban them. CC isn't able to accept the legal consequences.

If you have lied to gain access to our forums, please do the right thing and fess up. Of course, it is CC policy to assume that our users have been honest, so we won't be conducting any witchhunts.

As for kids entering the Colossal contest - I think that's ok. I don't think COPPA applies. And you should be able to enter via the contest website without registering as a user. Be sure that your parent knows you are entering (not a older sibling or friend), since we do need private information to ship the prizes.

For the record, we do advertise the CCC on a variety of LEGO websites and so do attract entries from non-forum-members. If they are not underage we do encourage them to also join the forums, but this is not a requirement.

If people are underage, it usually comes out eventually.
