I'm going to be harsh and say I don't like the blue. But the roof and wings are excellent. Far better than any attempt I could make...
Keep up the good work and God Bless,
Nathan

I kind of agree. Maybe a different color that would be more suitable. Your construction is suberb though, I like the choice of pieces and the door.I don't like the blue.
Respectfully submitted,

Hey, nice windmill. Is it an entry in the CCCIII? For once I am going to have to disagree with Nathan, because the blue doesn't bother me. But the walls do seem a bit plain. I would also like to see the interior and how well the door works, etc. Your landscaping is nice and the wings look good.
Build On,
Josh

That's a pretty good looking windmill. I don't mind the blue color, though as it's been said I wouldn't have gone with it myself.
One question and a follow-up point of criticism:
Where does this windmill rotate? No wind retains a constant direction, so most every windmill has some form of rotation. If your windmill rotates at the top, then there isn't an issue.
However, if your windmill rotates at the bottom, on top of the windmill's post, then I doubt that there would be so much brush and scrub around the windmill's base, at least where the ladder would be positioned. If the windmill rotates this way, I'd suggest building a ring of stone around the mill where the ladder would go in any of the directions it could face (excepting where the ring would move off the baseplate).
Otherwise, good work.

Hey,
I like the blue a lot, myself. Anyway, really ingenious construction. What is the circular core that the plates are held to?

I'm not sure of the internal structure but did you guys notice the strings at the top and bottom of the blue plates? That says to me that the plates aren't attached via studs.Bruce N H wrote:Hey,

Just my 2 cents,
