CCC3 Entry: Tavern of the Black Dragon

Post by plums_deify »

This is the first time I've submitted an entry to CCC. So, here it is.

This is the Tavern of the Black Dragon. It's a quaint little tavern, tucked away in a dark, dank back alley of a bustling metropolis.

Upstairs is the living quarters for the Barkeep and his wife. He's on a bit of break right now. They keep the extra ale up there, as well.

Downstairs is the tavern itself. Complete with a wood bar, stools, and a keg, the bar-maid can keep even the unruliest of patrons filled with excellent meads.

Those are all the pictures, though here is the gallery when public.

Thanks for looking!

I like the little black dragons sticking out over the walkway. Very fitting for the name of the tavern.

I think it's funny that the barkeep holds the extra ale up in his bedroom. Speaking of, what's he drinking up there on his break? :P

If that's an entry for CCC3, shouldn't you just have 3 pictures?

That's a great tavern Darkie, did you build it in bley?

That is a nice building. My favorite part is the door for the up stairs and the door for the tavern itself.

Keep up the good work.

Now that is a sweet MOC. The gated alley gives a very cool feel. Goood Job!

Looks great! I really like the idea of the extra wall and gate before the main doorway. Very nice name too.

Lights--Well, he has to sample his own mead. It's quality control. ;)

HenrytheV--There are three pictures for the contest in one folder, and an additional two in a different folder. I only submitted three. Yup, it's build in bley. I thought I had more of it, but apparently I was wrong. I didn't have enough of either grey or bley to build it...so I scavenged.

Lil John, Josh, and Sir Terrance --Thanks! I love the alley. It sort of developed itself during building. The gate was a last minute decision that really made it feel properly gloomy. :D
