Hello All.
Best of the Season to you all.
Here is a MOC made for the Feast of Stephen, which you all know the tale (I am assuming you know the Christmas Carol).
Let me know what you think. Any constructive comments/criticisms appreciated.

That looks very cool! although the tree looks a bit palmish which is odd considering winter.
In fact this is my favorite Christmas carol, and this year i made a lego movie of it, with a choir singing as the whole story unfolds. However it is too large to upload to Brickshelf so i cannot show it here.

And have a merry Feast of Stephen seeing as it is today and all (The day after Christmas)

God bless us, Everyone!

Excellent! This is one of my favorite Christmas carols. The poor man is perfect. What is going with the guys atop the wall? Medieval snowball fight?

Hello Josh & Rosh.Gonff,
Thanks for the comments.

I do agree that the tree is a very palmish, but hoped by adding so many leaves it would break out of the standard palm concept and be more "pine-ish". I couldn't figure a nice way to add snow to make it more like a pine. Perhaps I should have gone with a brick built.

Yes the guys atop the wall were sent to clear the snow off the battlements, but the one fellow just couldn't help but throw a snow ball ... I thought the epaulets would represent snow on his shoulders.

Cheers,
Bert.
