CCC3 Admin's Pick Entry: The Old Cathedral Courtyard

Post by SavaTheAggie »

Here's a little MOC I've been mentally designing for quite a while now. It's a courtyard from a non-existant cathedral. I thought it'd be fun to have the romanesque covered walkways. It's meant to be a 'slice of life' MOC, a vignette-like-creation if you will.

This is my second CCC3 Admin Pick entry, which I consider in the Medieval Life category.

Sweet! I think your foliage is quite good. It looks very well cared for and covered walkways look great. It doesn't really say Cathedral to me...but it is very well done.

Nice MOC Tony, it turned out well. It's also a nice place for your new tree :D

Yeah, I can see where it doesn't look very Cathedral...y... But in my defense I have to say that I got my idea from my church here in League City. They have all these romanesque arched-covered sidewalks leading from building to building and around a courtyard with fountain, it inpsired me. That isn't to say my church is a cathedral by any stretch of the imagination, but, eh...

Plus it gave me an excuse to build, which is always good.

A nice little scene! I really like large vignette style MOCs...

God Bless,
