CCC3 Siege Scene Entry: Desert Dispute

Post by porschecm2 »

The mighty Saracens besiege the crusading Lion Knights! The Saracens use everything from small trebuchets to tunnelers in their attempt to overrun the Lion Knights, while the Knights fight back with everything they've got, including flaming arrows and boiling oil.

I was planning on not posting about this til I could get another folder with more photos, but I probably won't be able to for a while, so I decided to go ahead and post now with the entry folder.

Comments and criticisms welcome and wanted!

Nifty tunnel, and a decent sized battle with one too! Most of the scenes with tunnels are just a scene with a tunnel.

I wonder, are those prisoners of war digging the tunnel? They look kind of european if you check their haircolor, and is that a sultan or khalif with the cloak and the servant? Nice details! But I do think the tunnelers need some guard to observe them... Or else they may be tunneling to... France! :P

Go Saracs! :D

Cool moc. I love the ramparts design. :)
Is that a minature trebuchet in the pit? Looks nice. :)
Great little details. Like the pool of pitch and the attacking archers behind the wooded wall, which has some kind of protecting material on the front of it..

Keep up the good work Porschecm2 and good luck in the contest. :)

Nice MOC! I like the desert setting.. The battle is also very well crafted.
