Thats an awesome idea! Perhaps not so great for battle, but it surely is a much prettier sight on a palace guard than the oversized normal halberds!

When I get more axes, I will use this idea for the palace guards! :D

Though I think it goes to MOCs.

Great job Spaztic! Once I recieve some vikings I'll implement this as well. This axe breaches the gap between the purist and customizer! :P

True. And I agree that it could be used by the palace guards, but I would place these axes by the side of my king's banners at the throne room. It would give a good look.

Well heck, it's always good to see someone see things differently and give it a shot. Kinda interesting. Not sure what this has to do with customs rather than MOC since nothing seems to have been modified (but that may just be a function of the fuzzy photography), but thanks for sharing!

That looks pretty cool. I wonder what it would look like on one of these poles:http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30219
But I agree that it should go in MOCS.

It's been said already, but great idea! It's so simple, and those parts are accessible enough that one could make these en masse. I'm actually tempted to try this! :D
