The forge

Post by Taki »

Hi afoLs!

I’d like to present you my newest moc: The forge. It is a water powered forge to transform raw material into useful steel.
I focused on the technical part, so this moc got a flowing (!!!) river (very proud of ;) ) and the big wheel powering two hammers and a huge blow bag. This is realised with two 9V motors.
Check out the Video to find out more. Hopefully Brick shelf will not delete it…
Anyway. The other features are the landscape and the buildings. We have the main building, a gatehouse (recycled from a previous moc), the clock tower (recycled two…) and a bridge.
And to make sure everybody feels comfortable we got a dungeon two.
Just check out the pictures and have fun!

Very nice!
I like the background you made for the pics, so it looks as if it's on an actual Lego set box. Very clever.
It it were an actual set, I'd definitely buy a whole bunch!

I think not. I may be wrong

Great job Taki! I enjoyed viewing your MOC.

The video

I think it will not work with BS, so I loaded it onto my own server. Its 14.1 MB, but you will get a good impression of the technic stuff running.

And thanks for you comments! Hopefully LEGO will release such a huge castle set someday, but I can't afford it anyway ;).

/edit
Hmm the video is on BS too, but not moderated yet. Here

A great MOC. I muyst confess I've been wanting to do a working mill/running water for ages but never had time to get into the workings side. Really great to see someone did! I also like the 'legoland' like framing on your pics... very homey : )

Thanks for sharing and God Bless,

Nathan

That is so cool! I'd never seen that idea of actually making the water move. Wonderful MOC.
