thanks, its quite easy, just clip the end of the skeleton arm to the next one etc. gives a nice touch to the demonic evil side of this character

Here is my entry, and might I add my first ever vig!

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=169941

As the hero walks towards to mountain, an evil dragon lowers his head over the edge and breathes his foul breathe into the face of our hero.
-Alan-

P.S. The folder is not public yet, and for some reason it wants you to download the pics rather than just opening them. If you know how to fix this plz let me know.

Well, here goes my first vignette as well as first contest entry, this was fun!

After offing the lone worshiper in the back of a whitewashed church, the villain strides towards the front.

A look at the bloody footprints the villain is leaving on the floor.

The hero, knealing before the alter having a vision of the Holy Grail so that he can continue his quest.

The villain pulls back his axe to swing...

However, it looks like the hero heard him coming.

Here is my entry Blood Bowl:
Image

This is actually my third of first vignettes that I ever built. All three built for the contest but in the end only one was chosen because of the entry limit. The theme is basically veteran fighter vs. rookie fighter or rage vs. calm. Two forced fighters battle it out as the last of four. Who will survive the Blood Bowl fights to live another day?
Hector the merciless or Roke the deft.

Heh, my apologies on the links... when I did them I thought they were deep links, I guess I copied the wrong URLs.

I try to do everything so carefully so I don't look like a newbie, and then go and do something like that *sigh* I guess I just have to live with the fact I'm a newbie and get over it

I present my first castle MOC, my first vignette, all in my first CC post (second actually, I accidentally posted in the other contest thread, then deleted it :) )!

Image

Dusk falls as our hero staggers up to the base of a rocky outcropping standing alone in the desert. Exhausted, he abandons all caution and throws down his helmet and sword. He plunges his head into the fresh spring, washing the sweat from his face and hair and quenching his parched throat. But he is unaware that he is watched...

I apologize for the poor writing, I just wanted to get the situation across simply.

I know you've all been waiting for this: without further ado, my entry in the Classic-Trestle Heroes and Villains Contest,

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1647608

It's kind of an odd contest, though. It doesn't seem like there'd be that many ideas. Snidely Whiplash, maybe... wait, Classic-CASTLE? Er...

Ahem.

In that case, lets go with this entry, "Adversary or Ally?":

Vignette #1:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1647612

Vignette #2:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1647613

And the combo:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1647610

I've never done a vignette before, and I was going to let this contest pass, but I couldn't resist an attempt at scenes where the hero and villain appear to be fighting something else, but are really fighting each other. You can be the judge of how well that works. Plus, I wanted to give my gorillas some exposure in jest. Then again everyone knows Kong's not a villain, just misunderstood :)
Enjoy.

Well, as usual, I'm almost late. It's not a strategy, I'm just a slow builder. Anyway, here is my entry:

The Villain is a rich merchant, who cannot be bothered with the safety of the peasants as he rides down the street. He knocks over children, old men, and anyone who gets in his way.

The unwitting Heroine is a young maid doing her morning chores (emptying the pots).

Here they are together.

I hope you like it. :D

Curses, foiled again! By Kenn!

I'd love to see what you could do with that!

Anyway, great entry Kenn. I thought at first they were fighting a giant bat and a separate serpent - they come together fantastically well.

And Jim, great concept and excecution of such.

There is the gallery link, I hope it works. I would like to win the Dragon Pod, but some of these entries are so great that I can only hope I have good luck. This is also my first post on C-C, but I've been lurking since around April '05. I'm glad I joined in time for the contest.
