It's not that old.

On topic:

I saw this before I joined and thought it was really great. The shields fit together so well. Another cool thing is that with stickers, such as Sava's and Fryslayer's (to name a few), it isn't limited to KK2 figs.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Looks great. I've done very simelar things with one of my factions. I use the bluw and 'white' striped shields from Vladek's castle and bib fortuna torsos. I really like the rectancular shields, especially for lines like this. I'm glad you posted this.

I use black ninja swords with my scorpion/shadow knights cavalry. I would take pictures of them and post them, but I'm too lazy to open a Brickshelf account (before the end of March, I will, I promise!).
Have you thought about making any shadow knight archers?
I haven't made archers but I am sure the black ninja swords look good. Can't wait to see your pics. And since when is a month old thread too old to post in? :)

Thanks! I totally agree, this would look great with some of the custom stickers out there.

Thanks for the comments. I am intrigued by the faction you are describing. Do you have any pics? I have 2 of those shields and a couple of fortuna torsos. I am going to have to throw a couple of figs together. What headgear do you use?

Yes, I do they are a bit older and I have aquired a total of about 10 more figs for this particular faction. The first pic includes the knights, the second is of the generic men at arms. I hope to get some more pics soon, but this blasted end-of-term "quick-pile-it-on" deal that professors do is leaving less and less time for anything else.

So, hope you like em.

Those look great! I like the knights slightly better than the men-at-arms, but they're both great.

Thanks for the all comments! I appreciate them, although it does surprise me that this thread has regained life, odd. :)

Wunztwice, I like your faction. I wasn't sure how it would look when you described it, but it looks good. I may have to go give this a try. ;)

Thanks,
Josh

I'd hate to be the army charging at that. You'd be skewered right upon reaching them. Good luck to the KK2 guys...

...still I suppose this line is why they have so many catapults  .
