Criticism is wost welcome. Some fellow builders have expressed some discontempt with the rose window. It has to be one stud thick, so I really don't know it it could be better.

Hey, I like that window!

The only thing I'm thinking is: "Gee, with such an impressive arch, it seems a shame to ruin it with those one-piece doors." Why not build your own?

As this:

Wonderful Job!

Very good, glad too see a comrad. I thought I was the only Portuguese posting in C-C.Were do you live? I live in Porto.

Great MOC. I've seen one great many of Cathedral's, but this is one of the best.

Ahh, Okapa. Podes ir ao chat do Classic-Castle. Clicas naquele botão no topo do ecrã que diz Classic-Castle.com e vais onde diz chat.
E não ponhas duas mensagens seguidas, inclui tudo numa.
Edit: Kay, don't have a cow.

Small update.
The construction as progressed quite a bit and I've taken a few photos. Regretably, I'm a pretty bad photographer, but anyway, you can check the new pics in this folder (when public):

Or through the deeplinks

Once again, sorry for the lousy pics.

Wow! That is unbelievable!!! :o (And to think I was proud of my watch tower  ) How did you plan that?! I do rough drawings and some blueprints but I never get it that perfect. That is unbelievable! Very nicely done. Can't wait to see the finished project.

P.S. What are those red bricks for? I'm no expert builder, so why are there so many red bricks on everything when they build stuff?

A couple of more photos added. I hope they are better photographed this time, but I really suck at this:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=170107

And a couple of deeplinks:

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Romas ... c01052.jpg

And please bear with with me: this is still very incomplete. The towers haven't even reached a third of their total height.

That. Is. Beautiful. Seriously. Dude. Amazing.

Ok, sorry for that, but it truly is great. The stained glass windows, the curved part of the wall, and everything else is(are?) just amazing. And you say the towers aren't even a third of their height!? WOW.

Edit: Lord Felix, I think the red pieces are just stand-ins for other pieces. Say he had a great idea, but couldn't find the part he needed in grey, and didn't want to forget his idea; he could use another color until he found or ordered the piece he really wanted.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".
