It is a good idea, and could be great. But coming up with a pub fight is hardly genius. After all, I've built one. :)

Is it possible to win two prizes like if you had two entries? Could one win first place and another win third.

Yes and no. You can win but you can only collect one prize. You choose which one and the one you don't want goes to the next in line.

This might sound pretty stupid, but if someone won first and third place, but chose the third prize would they still get the title?

Hello Mr. Wedin,

Histo-Sci here. I just have a few questions about this contest that you recommended for me to enter (I actually had already decided to do so!). Here goes:

Do all the elements of the diorama have to be genuine Lego elements? I will not use MegaBloks or anything like that, but I use colored paper for grass or dirt because of my lack of baseboards. Is this allowed?

If all of the figures have to be castle, does that mean I cannot use the figures of mine that are Star Wars bodies but are used by me as barbarians (due to the primitive-looking nature of some of the SW clothing)? Can I use just about any body, as long as it passes the test for medieval somewhat (i.e., no space)?

Can an old diorama of mine that was not intended for the contest be entered? How about old pictures of since dismantled dioramas, can they be entered too, as long as they are less than one year old?

Thanks for your time!

Histo-Sci

Umm...no. If you happen to win two prizes, you have to choose and the next person in line get the other one.

Hello yourself, :)

First of all, please don't call me Mr. Wedin. That was my grandpa. ;) Please just call me Josh.

Okay, you can use non-Lego elements for the base, background, etc. You should be fine.

You are right about the castle figs. Anything that can be used for castle is allowed.

But, you can't use any old MOCs if they have been published on any Lego fan site before. If they haven't been published before, then you can use old stuff. Make sense?

Thanks,
Josh

Hello there,

Hey, Josh (I won't call you "Mr. Wedin" again, okay?), I just have a few more questions. When I take the pictures of my battle scene, how do I post them here? Should I create a Brickshelf account to do it? How would I do that? I don't mean to be lazy and just have people tell me what to do or anything, but, trust me, computers just don't like me. How exactly do I post them here if I do not need a Brickshelf account?

Thanks in advance,

Histo-Sci
