I am excited. I wanted to enter cc3 but had no time for it. This contest always falls on the perfect time for me to actually build.

Battle! Battle! Battle! Huzzah!

Will you be competing again Jens? If so, how will you possibly top your last one? :)

After some discussions, my brother and I are each considering entering, but we only have one table available, so time will be limited to 15 days for one of us to work, then the other, I hope. We are still in the process of taking apart some of our CCC3 entries in order to build the new sceneries.

Good luck everyone. May your battles be mighty!

That's what battles were like back then, organised chaos :)

Oh, you can tell what is going on, if you examine the pics long enough. Believe me...I did. :)

Actually, I think that's what all battles are...even today.

Jens' entry and the other two winning entries from last year were excellent. It was so close that I had a hard time choosing in which order they should be placed. I am hoping to have the same problem again this year. :)

Josh

PS. Any comments on the prizes?

I like them, not too big, not too small.

I waited all year for this contest, this time I'll be prepared.

The prices are great in my position. This is why:

1: Round shields, more falcons plus a catapult! Fits perfect as first prize!

2: You can never have too many grey visors, and I do have sort of a black knight heater shield crisis (I got more kites than heaters).

3: My first Dragon Master set, its just adorable. The moment I saw Majisto I just had to have the little guy as the hero in all my adventures as a kid. I even bathed with the minifig! I may not use him as Majisto, but another peasant torso, a beard and the little hut in some corner of a marketplace is nice.

And if I wont win anything, Im just happy I made another of uncountable battles but photographed it for once! :D
This makes me want to have more battle contests- I love making battles over building and it gets into the mood to take pics! :D

Yaaaay.

I will enter.

Probably.

When i read it i came to think of all the time i spent making figs battle ready and stuff. I don't know how many i got. not as many as Jens but still.

And a little question. Is it possible to make a battlescene at an already publsihed moc? Im planning to set up å little battle at this baby.

erikut, I am doubtful you will be able to based on the rules. As you mentioned, it was an already published MOC... Even if it was just a small part of the whole scene, it's still published beforehand.

The Prizes:

1st Prize: Awesome set. Well done siege machine. Classic round shields. The greatest 'underdog' faction, the falcons! 'Nuff said.

2nd Prize: Nice two parter type of set. Good variety of pieces. The mounted knight probably adds the most value to the set, though castle doors and the ghost are still noteworthy.

3rd Prize: This one actually packs a good punch worth of useful parts for a third place prize. Awesome wizard, and good selection of castle scene elements.

Thanks to everyone for the comments on the prizes. I was curious what you all thought about them, but no one was talking. :) Glad you like them!

I had to think about this for a while but have decided against it. It would be too close to an old MOC. I understand how it could qualify as new if all the action was new, but I am going to have to say "no".

I don't want you to tell me, I want to be surprised. :) I can definitely say yes to that one. There is no minimum size requirement. Last year there was one entry that could have fit on a vignette. I look forward to seeing your entry!

Im in for my second entry, and Ive done something I dont think has been done before.

Does a pub fight count as a battle? I will not enter until Iam certain of this.
