Good entry ZIGGY!. I saw this on Brickshelf and came over here to reply to it. I like the way the guy with the mace has an eyepatch head at the end, but it's too bad he doesn't have the eyebrows and beard anymore.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Nice job Jon! More rubble from the walls would have been nice, and Gimli jumping from the wall, but it looks great otherwise!

Histo-Sci Entry #2: Medieval Battlefield

Hello there,

Here is my official made-for-the-contest entry. It is supposed to be like a real medieval battle like (Of the same caliber as Hastings or Bannockburn, only with too few figs!), which were often fought on grassy fields. The low ridge is where the good knights had their position, the bad knights (composed of Vikings, barbarians, and the remnants of the Bull raiders and the Shadow Knights--the Forestmen and Wolfpack held aloof from the fighting) assaulted the line, and were driven back when the good knights charged (the Bat Lord and his trusty advisor the Dragonslayer galloping amongst the fleeing foe cutting them up). Please forgive me for there is no picture of the whole field of battle; either the computer or the camera corrupted it! (One of the two--all I know is that it won't upload!) :!: To all ye squeamish: expect to see some blood! (What to expect: a man getting his hand lopped off, a speared barbarian, a headless crossbowman, a warrior with a deep slash in his back, a beserker getting thrust in the back by William Wallace's sword, other men getting cut down or about to get cut down, and many dead men.) But I already mentioned this to Stone Goblin since I already had this planned in my head before I saw his great MOC Blood Brawl. :) The battle has devolved into a pandemonious "every man for himself" sort of battle. If the evil warriors only turned on the advancing good knights and their advancing Cross standard (My good knights are Christian warriors!), they would have a chance to win the day, but their low morale does not allow this, although Jarl Siegbert (name courtesy of G.A. Henty's character from The Dragon and the Raven) is trying to rally them and attack their advancing enemy yet again. Behind the ridge is a line of flags with a few standards around, also there are some barrels and crates of extra weapons and shields, and there are two catapults as well (one flinging barrels of greek fire). Criticisms and comments are welcome!

P.S. Perhaps the standard-bearer is shouting "Miles Christi sum!", which is Latin for "I am a soldier of Christ."

Edit: the gallery was not public yet when I posted this, so please come back later if you can't see it yet!

Histo` I kinda` like this one better(Than thge last) A)Clearer pics  B)Its simpler and has more visible fig action(Of course that also may be because of the cam!)But dont feel bad my pics always come out blury  BTW is this supposed to be continuing the last one?I was origanally going to do that but the villagers ended up elsewere and their torso`s on other guys so I made a slightly different story with the same idea.

Hey, ZIGGY!, thanks for the interest! I really love all the repies I get...but, anyway, no it is not supposed to be a continuation of my last one. (Some of the guys that were killed and/or eaten as dragon snackies in my earlier entry made it into this battle!) Glad you liked them though! If I please one person it is worth it! If your camera is fuzzy, be glad him no takem all you pictures goodem fine then go and makem 'em no good to upload like him did me! And, fuzzy, your pics are not public yet. That happened to me, and it came up the next morning. I'll check yours when I get the chance! Sure they'll be great!

ImageImage
Battle Background
With treacherous plot and endless schemes, Willa the Witch managed to kidnap Majisto and plan to learn secrets of his wizardry, if she could succed if would mean she will be unstoppable!

Ofcourse this is an ultimate insult to the Dragon Master which can only be vindicated by brickshed, and unlike most of their foes, Dragon Master are neither impressed by bugs and undead alike.
