the story of my avatar-poopsmith

Post by wunztwice »

On the occation of my 100th post, thus becomeing a laborer I decided it was time for a personal avatar. I couldn't choose bewtween all my figs, but I made up my mind to do a peasant-type befitting my 'rank' right now. So I picked the funniest one I made, the poopsmith.

If you visit homestarrunner.com you know. But a poopsmith makes sence on so many levels. I'm sure that's not what they were called, but it's funny. I made a little story to introduce you to the poopsmith.

Here are the pics:

Folder, when public:

So, I hope you get a kick out of seeing him around. Thanks for looking.

Good job. They did exist and were called gong farmers. In fact, that was your first rank, here on CC. :)

Hey, that's great! I'm a huge fan of H*R. Are all of those real peices, or did you paint the shovel?

I love HR, although I haven't checked my SBmail lately...

Love the fig - although I can't believe he's still smiling! :) Very cool idea, and very well done... I actually thought you did the Poopsmith/Gong Farmer thing on purpose.
Knight Templar

Nope, all original pieces in their original color. I just happend accross the brown shovel one day on ebay, and I bought several because they were cheaper there than on brickshelf. I forget the seller's name though.

I had been useing a black shovel, but I like him all brown. Thanks, guys for posting this, it's nice to see you are making room for the laboring poopsmith (and not just because of the smell.)

Oh yeah, and Hstar is gweat.

Here we get a glimpse of the Poopsmith in it's natural habitat. Pretty nasty if you ask me. Oh, the Poopsmith is under a vow of silence. I'm gonna be on a vow of throwing up my cookies all over this microphone. How much is this thing worth anyways? Cause it's about to be worth a lot less. The Poopsmith's a good guy. He's just got a crappy job.

That's great! I'm on H*R right now.

As I recall, the brown shovel comes from the Red Baron set. (http://guide.lugnet.com/set/10024)

Yup, you're right, that's the only set it comes in and there is only one in it. I don't actually own the set, I just bought a lot of 10 or so from ebay. I thought they were neat, and the go well with my brown guy. Plus woden shovels make sense for serfs or peasents. So, no painting, I'm pretty much a purist, when it comes to Legos. I only customize broken pieces.
