Sea Knight

Post by Mark Stafford »

Hi,

This was going to be half of an entry to the Heroes and Villians contest, but I couldn't get a 'fire' creature together to contest with it... ah well.

I also expanded Cogitry Throckwood's folder (my entry in the CCC3 custom figure category) he's now joined by a Giant Jelly Bean Knight he rescued from a battlefield and patched up using 15 clocks and a plough!

Promise my next MOCs will be a bit more 'classic castle' and a bit less fantasy! (Though if I had the peices to make more of them I'd be entering the Battle competition with Sea Knights attacking a ship!)

Cheers,
Mark.

Why go classic (boring gray box) castle when you can have awesome stuff like this?

Build what you want this stuff roxors my soxors. It would be great to see a whole clockwork castle and some other knights or a horse.

MOC on!
There is someone who is always worse off than you . . . consider my peasants for example.

I like the fish... the knight, I'm not so sure about, just yet. :D Still it is quite well made, I'm just not really into brick built figures.

That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen!

I normally don't think much of brick-built figures, but that is an awesome sea-creature thing, and the image if it bursting from the ocean is incredible!

I have to agree. The monster itself isn't that awesome, but the way you built the water-burst is truly incredible! I've never seen jewels or lightsaber blades used in a water display before, and they look perfect! This could easily have placed in the contest if you'd made an equally awesome enemy. I would suggust building the same baseplate-stand out of clear red, orange, and yekllow bricks.

Those fish are darn clever, too.

My first impression...WHOA, that's crazy creapy!

I love the water effect, and the fact that fish are caught in it. The knight thingy is perdy cool and well made, although it's not my cup 'o tea.

I like the red knight, he reminds me of the maxifigs, but smaller, and more like a clock.

Overall I think these are the best uses of the KKII visors I've seen. I'd like to see more or your classic stuff, but this can be a great break from that.

I generally like brick-built figures, and these are interesting. In such a fantasy context, the KK2 armour is quite acceptable. Those fish are nice, too.

I know, I'm echoing the previous posts, but your work is these creations is really cool. I loved the magician, really well-made. Keep it up!

Wow...that is something else! I definitely like the fish and the water. The knight is really well done except that I don't like the arms. They just don't fit, imo. However, overall this is pretty cool!

I like the fish, though the knigh is too fantasy based for my tastes.
Good work all the same!

God Bless,

Nathan
