Two more of my factions: Vikings and Forestmen.

Post by JoshWedin »

Hey All,

I got two more of my factions ready for display today.

Vikings:

(a few of the Viking pics are blurry. My camera kept focusing on the wrong fig. After four attempts I gave up.)

Forestmen:

Let me know what you think!

Wow, totally awesome 8) . Do I see that no two forestman, and no two Vikings have the same head? WOW! I like all the variety, and the Hagrid body, and the tree, and everything else too.

Learning French.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

That's correct. I like to keep my factions small enough so that I can have unique heads on each fig. Glad you like them!

I like the Hagrid body for "Little" John (at least I assume that was the idea). And ofcourse Friar Tuck with ale goblet in hand....

The Viking are pretty wild looking. The beserker with two axes above the rest, the one with red "exo-force" hair and the onew with brown female hair medium length just scream "BARBARIAN"!

....must acquire Forestwoman....green...bodice.....mmmmmm

Thanks! Yup, that is supposed to be Little John and Friar Tuck. I'm glad that was obvious, I figured it would be, but one never knows...

Glad you like the Vikings. I got the idea for the Exo-Force hair from a MOC of Stone Goblin's. Ironically, I thought of the medium length hair myself and then noticed he did that in his MOC too, I'd just missed it. Oh, well. :)

Thanks for the comments,
Josh

PS. The forestwoman torso is a great piece!

Cool figs. I really like how you always use unique heads. Gives the figs a more personal look.

Wow! Like smcginnis, I'm amazed at the variety of heads! Is this all the vikings/forestmen you have? Or is this a neat little collection of a vast number of figs.

I would love to see these two clash in a battle scene.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I agree about the personal look. Those vaste hordes of figs with all the same heads kind of give me the creeps. :)

Thanks! Yes, this is all my Vikings and almost all my Forestmen (I have two more torsos). I keep an eye out for as many different heads as I can get. If you look at my "armies" folder on Brickshelf you can see all the factions I currently have built. It takes a lot of heads. :)

I like the diversity of all of the figs. I like how you used the exo-force hair on a viking. I like the tall forestman. I think you should make more minifigs.
Thanks for listening, Thomas
