Hello !

I'm starting a BS folder with all my favourite Castle-themed characters; knights, villains, outlaws, heroes, peasants, merchants and whatsoever.
I'll be updating this folder frequently !

I'll start with the introduction of my sigfig;
For anyone who wondered what Marakoeschtra looks like. :wink:

I'll check it out right now, but the Admins may flame that picture's size :)

Yup, it could be cropped. But it's a neat fig anyway. I like the stick and bundle. The brown hand works well for a handle. I'll have to check out the folder soon.

Interesting folder. You have some very well made creations. For those that haven't done so yet, take the tour, made me laugh. Great job.

I really like the stick and bundle. It's a technique I'll have to use sometime (I say that way too much :P). Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see more!

That's a great face, and the stick/bundle is very nice. I'm all about the minifigs, so I look forward to seeing many more interesting characters in the future. :)

Thanks for the positive reactions so far ! :D

The next character is this fisherman, showing off the
barrel of fish that he just catched:

My forestwoman wasn't too happy having to lend her hat, though. :wink:

I should think not!
Where'd you get the bandanna?

The first guy was nice, but the fisherman is really cool! The head selection is great, and the colors fits the idea. And VisVires is right, your folder is really interesting. Good job!

I got it from a German Bricklink store.
(I'm not sure if I can post direct links to BL stores here, so I won't)
Every now and then, parts in special colors appear on Bricklink; so was this green bandana. :wink:

Green Bandana comes from a Forestman Set. It was something like "River Crossing" or something. It ain't a "special" color, but a hard-to-find item.

Scnicker,

The "minifig hat rag" came in green in Forestman's Crossing, and is somewhat rare. However, as far as I know, the bandana around his neck is not from any set. We've seen a lot of odd color minifig accessories lately that seem to be official molds but don't seem to come from any sets. I'm actually waiting on a Bricklink order with a black beard myself.

Oh! I thought we were talking about the "hat rag" when you guys referred to something else. My bad :)

OK, here's the next character, a shepherd:

The sheep are actually an incarnation of the original design by Ley Ward;
I updated them with mini-slopes as heads and minifig hands as tails.

I really like the sheep. I also like that you acknowledge your inspiration too.

In fact I just looked through your folder and I have to say I'm a huge fan, the detail in your MOCs is amazing :D
