Early forestry-a vignette

Post by wunztwice »

I made this vignette to show off my new aspen/birch trees (the white ones). I have also been wanting to include this damaged tree that came as extra in an ebay lot. I figured this is a good way to get them both in.

The premise is that these guys are supposed to be removing any non-aspen/birch trees from this area of the king's forest. This will allow the aspen/birch to thrive, possibly encouraging more deer to feed here. (easy hunting) Also, the king thinks they are pretty...

Great Vig! Love your birch trees and the damaged tree works great as...well...a damaged tree. ;)

I really, really like the birch! I'll have to steal - that is, borrow - that design for my town.

The damaged tree is perfect. Interesting what stepping on LEGO can do, isn't it? (I assume that's how it got bent, I've broken a few plates that way)

As others have said, that's a great idea for a birch tree. I'll need to try it!

The damaged tree also looks great.

Cool trees. Are they both birch, both aspen, either either, or each a specific (sorry if that was a little unclear :D)? Good backstory too.

As far as the trees, I'll leave it up to your imagination. They look simelar in real life anyways, so...

DarkTide, I'm sorry about your threads. I posted for you. I actually hadn't been getting many responces till recently either.

Thanks all!

I like your trees, they remind me of the birch trees near my family's cottage in Quebec. But I would never customize a normal tree like that, I hardly have enough for a small game o' BrikWars!!!
