Spinning wheel Vpod

Post by wunztwice »

I have recently made my first Vpod. It's pretty simple and straight forward, but I like it. It was also a way to show my new spinning wheel design. I hope you enjoy!

Here is the gallery, post mod.

That weaving-thing (whatever it´s called in english :P) is awesome... Really great work on that one.

I think it's called a loom, not sure. It looks great, but a V-pod wasn't necessary for this :) Great weaving wheel!

That's a great spinning wheel design! I'll check back here when I need one.

Excellent spinning wheel, Chris. Must borrow that idea. Very inspirational, and perfect for a v-pod.

Totally agree with Alan. Excellent work. I like how you made a table leg by using a torch. Nice foot pedal detail. :)
V-pods the new vignettes.

Hey, I saw this on Brickshelf yesterday (or was it the day before? :?) and came to comment, but it wasn't here! Anyway, it's really cool. Nice use of technic pieces that would be otherwise useless (outside of catapults, winches, and fantasy creatures [click hinges]).

Well, it stands for vignette-pod (you probably knew that already).

I would suggest you pack the pod to the brim: Essentially I'm suggesting you push this MOC even further. Another supply barrel or some kind of chair design to fit in the pod? Maybe some 2x2 and 1x2 Brown bricks or flats as an alternative to the skirt so the lady looks as if she is sitting. It's awesome, as everyone else has pointed out.

BTW, could you design an alternative model such as a wheelbarrow?

As others have said, your loom design is well done! :)

Pretty good for a v-pod. Fans have said that if you can use the pod itself as part of the vig, then it looks better... but I don't see how you could have done that with this one. :?

That's a very well designed spinning wheel ! :D
Are you making more of these V-pods ?
I really like the idea of making "portable" little Castle scenes.

That's awesome!
Like everyone said, that's an excellent spinning wheel design.

If they sold v-pods like this in stores, I'd buy em.

I really like this, because it's perfect fig scale, and that brown pulley just cried out to be used as a loom. Great job.
V-pods are great, I should really make one one of these days.
BTW it is called a loom.
