non-destructive custom helms

Post by wunztwice »

Hello all!

Being recently inspired by the influx of standard visor uses (see maid, samuri helm) and not being able to get to sleep last night I came up with these various helmets using multiple black visors and different helmet types.

Brickshelf folder (already modded)

I really hope you guys can use these, I think some of them at least provide some variation in figs. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking!

These are very cool, saw them on brickshelf earlier today. This is my favorite.

Learning French.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Mine too.

Helmet 2 also looks really good. I'll have to try that....

These are great! I, too, like number 3 but 5 looks pretty cool also.

Keep it up!

Very creative. How well do the visors stay on?
I guess I could figure out for myself after I get off the computer...

Keep up the good work.

I actually meant to put that here, but forgot. They all stay pretty dern well, but sometimes if you bump one it will shoot off.

I also meant to write here that the actual helmets are
1)neck protector
2)chin protector
3)chin protector again
4)old classic helmet
5)standard helmet

Thanks for all the very kind complements-I am super glad you all like them.

I think helmet 4 is the best. 2 is also good but 5 looks too much like a motorcycle helmet.

Cool. I was also inspired by the samurai helm to play around with exactly the same thing the other day. I went with a black flight helmet with 2 black visors, but I really like the variety in your folder.

Interesting! I like Helmet 2 especially. I'll have to try a couple of these. Nice job! :)
