Here's my idea: Take a normal plate, at least a 2 x 2, attach a 2 x 2 round plate to the top of it, then put a carrot stem http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=carrottop and put it into the axle hole of the round plate. Does this make sense? :? I don't have a digital camera, otherwise I'd post pics.

I think I've got you... so it looks like the carrot top is sticking out of the ground, right?

That's actually a pretty good idea. I'll have to use it sometime.

Here's another "carrot-sticking-out-of-the-ground"- idea;
I'm using it in a big castle display layout I'm working on.

I used 1 x 1 cones as the "fake" carrots. :wink:

That looks great! I am definitely going to use this...its the best new crop idea I've seen in quite some time.

Excellent idea marakoeschtra, and a full carrot will cost more anyway. Just need the stems now. Looking forward to seeing that castle.

Cheers.
