Butcher with RIBS!!
Here is the butcher of my town. I finally found a use for the red pieces I had leftover from making a tutor. Let me know what you think.

I think you did a good job with ribs and other chunks of meat. However, the fig doesn't say butcher to me. He's too clean. One of the red plastic capes worn in front would be good or something like that. With that much blood and raw meat around, he would have some on him. Oh, that red grill piece works really good for blood running off the table. The beasty must be awfully fresh to have that much blood running about! Reminds me of some slaughterhouses I've seen...
Good job,
Josh

AFOL and his money are easily parted.

I wonder if some of the red viking horns wouldn't make good ribs. Maybe a couple turkey legs and some sausages would be good too.

Hmm, a neat little vig to show him off. But I tend to agree with Josh here, he seems a bit clean. (Oh my, and is that a human skeleton torso I spy in the pile?...?...) hehe

Thanks guys. I also thought the same thing about him being to clean but I couldnt come up with a good way to make him look more bloody. The only thing about him thats bloody is his left hand. I think I may try the idea with the cape like you sugested.
a nice little scene though a little graphic for my tastes ; )
God Bless,

However, I do have a bit of constructive criticism (at least I hope it's constructive ). First of all, like others have said, he is too clean. Second of all, like Josh said, that's a lot of blood, but since it is the same color as the meat, it sorta looks like pieces of meat dripping off. Maybe make one or the other dark red.

Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

I would have done ribs by finding a 2x2 with holes in the side, inserting viking horns in the holes, and covering the studs with a 2x2 red flat tile. To make them look like in the game Gauntlet Dark Legacy

Good work. I like the dripping blood effects too. I love seeing profession MOCS like this. Good work dark tide. This might be helpful:
I did a butcher for the MOC I used for the battles contest, but he didn't get exposure in the official entry. Still in the process of upgrading the MOC and taking better photographs, but you can see him here with a giant dino sized rib, heh... I also did a chicken, but it's difficult to see. I'll update 'Building the Falcon Fortress' with this later.
