Hi all,
Prompted by some comments in the "report card" thread, and filling a gap left by the demise by the old Cool LEGO Site of the Week, we're introducing a new feature - Classic Castle Cool Links. On a regular basis we will post a poll to add another link to this archive. That link could be either a stand-alone website or an individual builder's portion of a community website (Brickshelf, Flickr, MOCpage ...), and should either feature LEGO castle prominently or be a site of general use to the community (e.g. something like Peeron). Rather than re-invent the wheel and vote on sites we already know are great, we've gone through the old CLSotW archives and added those that fit the above criteria to the CCCL archive. So that means that CCCL is already packed with 8 years of great links, so check it out.
Now, to vote on the first new addition to the CCCL. Here are your choices . . .
Brickshelf gallery by Onishi Shinji - Castle content: cool castle and monster creations by Onishi Shinji
The Hoernersburg - Castle content: Take a guided tour through the mighty make-believe Hoernersburg Lego castle and its neighboring medieval Lego town and cathedral.
Gerkens.org - Castle content: Creations such as the Falcons' Impregnable Rock by Kai Gerkens
Lugnet - Castle content: The grand-daddy of LEGO community sites has forums devoted to each major theme, including Castle, and a comprehensive set guide.
Neutronbot - Castle content: Six builders, including CC Admins Lenny and Kevin and forum member Jonesy, came together to make this site. While much of the site is space themed, those three builders have extensive castle and fantasy creations.

I think Neutronbot. Thay've got great stuff, and the castles are great; now if only they'd build some more...

This is a really great idea... I've always thought that Lugnet's "Cool Site of the Week" was a wonderful idea, and I was sad to see it become a bit stagnant... kudos to CC for thinking of this!
That said, I have to say that this first selection is tough! Mostly because all the sites listed should probally get the award!
I like Neutronbot for the presentation, but I have to confess that I chose Lugnet... it's a resource mecca, although I avoid the forums as much as possible. Still, Lugnet did the most for creating the LEGO community in the past and works as a wonderful resource today.

I'm also going with Neutronbot.
As LUGNET is linked off the front page, it seems like it would be redundant to include it here. Moreover, Neutronbot features some of this site's more accomplished members, which is definitely worth bonus points!
I would also like to commend the inclusion of Onishi Shinji's Brickshelf gallery as an option. Those are some fine MOCs which have undoubtedly been overlooked by many!
So far, I'm really liking this feature. Awsome stuff!
Later.

I had to vote Lugnet (years of gratitude) but it may not be the most appropriate choice for this type of database. Great idea though!

I think the four highest ranking sites are all note-worthy in the cool sites links page.
