Sly Pig has a home

Post by eNiGMa »

I've been saying it for over a year now: "I want to try a tudor house sometime." Well, seeing Kyle's City of Shyne and reading Lenny's article inspired me to finally sit down and build a home for my sig fig, The Great Sly Pig. So, here it is:

I think it turned out alright for a first time, and I had a lot of fun. Sorry for the bad pics, though.

Wow, how cool is that for Sly Pig to have his very own home! I like it! If I were a minifig, I'd live there. I really dig the blue on the house to match up with the little dude's theme.

Can't wait to see the other pics when it goes public.

And I really must come up with a sig fig of my own.

That looks really good! Somehow it has a rather distinctive feel to it and the blue is very striking. Good Job!

Very cool. I really like the house and all it's furnishings, like the weapons and armor. Oh, and the dead Jayko is great.

Very clean and sturdy house there. The stone base and tudor structure are perfectly balanced(in hight), excellent color combo. Good idea to fit the windows and the bed is somthing new, I think.

Excellent MOC!

Hmm, storing a dead Jayco. :D

Cheers.

Oh, I forgot to give credit where credit is due! This is not my week.... The windows were highlighted by Lenny in his tudor instructions article and debuted in a creation by James Brink. The bed is one of the awesome designs by Ley Ward.

A very nice piece of work! All the interior "decorations" are well done, and the Jayco is hilarious. I love the colors (very BF-esque) and the overal design is quite effective. I like the slim sections of black and blue, its a type of tudor not modeled as much as far as I can tell.

I like it alot, it's great for a first.

Nice jayko :D and great house.I just finished building a really small tudor but compared to this and that stuff you showed,it`s pathetic! All it is is a layer of white bricks than a layer of black plates plus it`s far to small,Oh well I do hope troy will let me buy stuff through PMs as I don`t have a BL acount. This changes(or rather adds  )to my wishlist a bit!!
I've been let back on, zip-adee-doo-dah!

Very nice. I like the blackfalconness of the yellow window over the blue paneling. I, in most cases, might have tried to do some slanting of the frame, but this works just well by itself.

Well, I'd love to see it when you get some pics. :)

That was in the original plan for this, but I looked and--*gasp*--I don't have the right slopes in blue! :x But I've got a couple others planned for the future. Should be fun....

Thank you all for your comments!
