I like it so far. I think this id onecase where the raised baseplate works well in a MOC. You've made the keep look like it belongs there. Nice work, keep it up, I'd like to see the finished product.

Ooh, me likey! Apart from the overall construction, I like how you've humanized the Shadow Knights by giving them hair, "younger" faces, and beds and food and stuff. Also, as wunztwice said, this looks good on the raised baseplate.

Its very cool. Though the outside doesnt really capture the shadow knight feel, I would change the lighter red to the newer darker red. The inside however captures it very nicely. I like how you have the knights all chilling, gave me a good laugh. Great MOC.

The red parts are all dark red, I think it just comes up lighter in the photo. As for the shadow knights I don't really follow the story, to me they're just another faction
I managed to finish it last night so I'll post some updates soon

I love it! Good castles on raised baseplates seem to be somewhat rare and yours is excellent. I really like the little slope in front of the windows on the tower. Great work!

Very nice. The dark red looks good with the black, and I like your figs. This seems like a castle that would be in a mountain pass, I can picture snow falling around it, and grey skies above it. Also, maybe you should add a beacon fire on top, that would look good.

Alright, it's completed! It's lookin' really good. The window designs in the wall are great, and so are all the figs. I see they also have a wizard among them--very cool. I would only suggest doing a little bit of landscaping on that extra green baseplate you've got there; nothing fancy, just maybe a few trees or something.
Keep it up!

Hey Slobey,
This is looking great! I like the way you rounded off the corners, particularly, and also the little triple slopes in front of the windows are nice touches.

Aww, Bruce beat me to my comments. Hmm, I like the inside alot! You've given the shadow knights real peronalities and made them a lot less "orcish" I suppose. They are now more like people and less like evil-doers. All the different combos of armor helps too, they are not all the same and that helps in that respect.
I think a little landscaping or planting around this place would help alot, esp. if it is a mountain pass. Also, the pics are a bit fuzzy, but other than these two very minor gripes I like it alot!
